This Football drills application is absolutely Unique, its the only one of its kind in the world.
The drills have been designed for the parent and child relationship. If you have ever gone out over the local park with your child and looked to play some football you will realise how difficult it is to make it fun for your child and also you the parent. Well that's about to change with this application, all the drills are structured for you both to have fun and the child learning the key factors to passing, shooting, dribbling, and control. You will also get great coaching tips for a one to one coaching session.
Coaching Tips
Where I have illustrated coaching tips or key points, I felt it important to ensure good basics are encouraged. I did not want the parent or trainer to get too bogged down with technique issues; this will take a lot of the fun out of the exercises for the child. Therefore, I believe, having worked with children of all abilities and my own son for many years, if you keep it fun and encourage at all times, this will keep the enthusiasm going for the child.
You can bring in different coaching points a bit at a time; the practises I have designed will be a good teacher for them. As the player improves, you can start to bring in more of the coaching tips if they are happy to learn more, some children just want to play and have fun. This is great, because, as I stated earlier, the drills alone will be a good teacher for them, so don’t think you have to keep giving them coaching points and stopping the play.
Enthusiasm
If your child starts to lose enthusiasm, most of the drills in this application can be adapted into a shooting drill - this will soon get them back on track. As we all know, children love to shoot and score, especially past their dad. Therefore, you can always have a shooting drill set up, or ready, so you can have a break from passing or control etc. So get in goal have some fun and don’t be too good in those goals, you can let the odd one pass you.
What you will need?
I have tried not to make the drills too technical in the coaching tips, just key areas pointed out to ensure good basics are learnt whilst having fun. Parents should join in as much as they can and generate the fun environment for the child to excel and enjoy.
I would ask that you get yourself a bag of balls (eight would be great) and also a stack of cones, which can be purchased, in most sports shops. Your child will love the look of the drills all set up, and be more focused when training. Believe me, he will start to feel like a `superstar when he gets treated like this.
Why will this help?
This application is designed to help parents, teachers, coaches or anyone involved with children have fun with football on a one-to-one level. Not only will the exercises inside improve children as players, but will get them out in the fresh air, keep them healthy and use up energy. All the football exercises can be used for all levels and abilities from the age of seven upwards. What is vital is that you encourage at all times and then you will see the child enjoy each and every skill.
I feel there are many children with bags of enthusiasm to play football but not given the opportunity to play if not as gifted as other children. This application will give them the opportunity to practice great drills with their mum, dad, brother, or friend on a one-to -one basis, which will increase their football knowledge and skill, and, hopefully, lead to them spending more time playing in matches with their friends. It will also help the up-and-coming superstar` to put in the extra training needed to practice his skills.
You will be amazed at the difference these exercises will make to your child’s game, and, of course, enjoy the wonderful relationship that develops between parent and child.
